Wendy Voon Knits, founded in 2004, is a Melbourne-based women’s knitwear label creating refined, enduring pieces. Each garment is crafted on handknit machines using the finest natural yarns, reflecting a commitment to elegance, quality, and longevity.

Wendy Voon established her knitwear label in 2005 after completing a Diploma in Textile Design and Production at RMIT (2004) and an Advanced Diploma in Textile, Clothing and Footwear. She also undertook further study at the Montreal Centre for Contemporary Textiles in 2006, supported by an Ian Potter Cultural Trust grant.
In 2016, Wendy opened her Melbourne atelier—a space to create, sell, and champion independent Australian design. After nine years, the atelier has closed, and her work is now available online, at design markets, and in select boutiques around Australia.
Wendy’s work has been recognised with a number of awards and grants, including: Flinders Quarters Emerging Designer Award, Craft Victoria (2006), Ian Potter Cultural Trust Grant (2006), Judge, Australasian Young Designer Wool Award (2015), City of Melbourne Business Expansion Grant (2017)
