William Walker Respecting Country

William Walker is a First Nations Tribal Artist. From birth he has been blessed with his Cultural Connectedness, growing up on the Rocky River with his Elders on Wahlubal Country (Bundjalung Nation) having knowledge and stories passed down. Painting and storytelling are the mediums William uses to echo the wisdom of his Elders. Growing up on Country has deeply influenced his understanding of and connection to the land. William values the lessons learned from living on Country and acknowledges the richness and significance of his cultural heritage. His upbringing has instilled a profound appreciation for the land and its ability to sustain and nurture his community. William loves painting his country, Wahlubal Country.
