As part of their design philosophy of sustainability in the fashion industry Two Threads has launched a new concept in deconstructed and reworked clothing - Act Two and [Reworked] - handcrafted, limited edition pieces made from upcycled garments and reclaimed materials. Two Threads is proudly and passionately designed and made in Melbourne. They pride themselves in honouring a thoughtful, slow, handmade approach to fashion using locally sourced materials and innovative designs.
They believe in supporting their community, and work with exceptional local, small-scale makers. They source their fabrics locally to reduce their carbon footprint and like to use as much reclaimed clothing and fabric remnants as they can in their range. Designing pieces with minimal fabric waste and trying to use all offcuts to make other garments for the range.
