Megan Watson is a multidisciplinary artist working on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country (Canberra). With a background in photography, filmmaking and writing, Megan's creative practice is driven by a fascination with form, material and storytelling. Her exploration of landscapes and space through visual media informs a tactile sensibility in her leatherwork, where colour and contrast become tools of expression. As founder of MW Leather Studio, she applies the same thoughtful eye to crating pieces that are designed to last - functional, beautiful and personally meaningful. Megan's approach is rooted in a love of craft, intentional construction and a desire to make work that resonates with character and function.
