Natalie Anna Totterdell
Ceramics
As a potter creating functional and sculptural works, I experiment with a range of surface design techniques and as a consequence my art is constantly evolving. Nature and my interactions with it, are my primary source of inspiration and are consequently a significant influence in my designs.

Natalie is a South Coast potter who incorporates her scientific background in the way she approaches her work. She has spent the last five years exploring and experimenting with clay as a medium for creating functional and sculptural works that feature Australia’s diverse and unique natural environment.
Her background in Environmental Science, as well as time spent living in Arnhem Land and now the beautiful Far South Coast of NSW, is a strong influence in her ceramic forms and designs. Her passion for the natural environment is evident in her subject matter and her attention to detail is characteristic of her designs.
