Jennifer Kemarre Martiniello OAM is an award winning visual artist, poet and writer of Lower Southern Arrernte, Chinese and Anglo-Celtic descent. She was awarded Canberra Critics Circle Awards for Visual Arts in 2011 and 2013, is an ACT Creative Arts Fellow (2003) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Visual Arts Fellow (2013-2014), Australia Council for the Arts. Jennifer's prizes include Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award (2013), Bay of Fires Art Prize (2016), Wollatuka Art Prize (2012) and the Reimagine Art Prize (2023). Her works are held in multiple national and international public and private collections. She received the Order of Australia (OAM) in the Queen's Birthday Honours in 2023 and she was recognised as a Pacific Region Craft Master by the World Crafts Council. Jennifer works from her studio at Canberra Glassworks on unceded Ngunnawal/Ngambri land.
