Kidson Jewellery

Jewellery and Object

Emma Kidson’s focus is on quality craftsmanship and materials. She handcrafts every piece in her Wagga Wagga studio, using recycled precious metals.

Inspired by Japanese aesthetics, Australian flora, and succulent gardens, her work reflects a deep-rooted love of botanical themes passed down through generations of passionate gardeners in her family.

Emma Kidson is an Australian jeweller known for her refined, sculptural pieces that fuse tradition with thoughtful innovation. After completing a Bachelor of Arts (Jewellery) at Charles Sturt University in 2007, she established her own studio practice in 2008.

Emma’s work draws inspiration from Australian native flora, and succulent gardens—translated into intricate, wearable forms. Her Pot Plant Collection was exhibited at Milano Jewelry Week, Italy in 2022, reflecting her growing presence in the global contemporary jewellery scene. Earlier in her career, she was awarded a National Contemporary Jewellery Award (2008), a significant milestone that cemented her as an emerging force in the field.

Her pieces are worn by collectors and public figures alike, including Governor-General Sam Mostyn, who has been seen wearing Emma’s distinctive earrings at official events. Emma’s work continues to explore the dialogue between natural forms and contemporary design, offering jewellery that is both intimate and enduring.
