Anna Gianakis Coloured Porcelain

Anna is an established Canberra based Designer Maker who continues to research process, method and skill as meaning in her objects of applied design.

The reach of Anna’s innovative studio work includes annual representation at the UnderCurrent Design Market to many a local, national and international visitor; selected keystone exhibitions like the history of ceramics in the Canberra region by the Canberra Museum and Gallery; and commissions such as limited edition bowls for Masters of Fare: Chefs, Winemakers, Providores exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, and trophies for the International Women's Day Awards.

Recognised internationally, Anna’s work has also been exhibited in the likes of international trade fairs, conferences, and design competitions in Scotland, USA, UK and Germany. Most recently, Anna was invited to create limited edition pieces for the Design Canberra Festival’s inaugural Sell Out: Design Auction, and her work continues to appeal to collectors from all over the world.
