Sian Thomas Ceramics

Sian studied at East Sydney tech for two years beginning 1981 -1982. Sian has worked for the past 40 years as a studio based ceramic artist. Tea sets were main her interest in the beginning. Still today teapots are created with detailed patterns carved into the surfaces. In recent years she has developed a fascination in translucent porcelain working with the different thickness to create soft lighting. Many ideas are inspired by the nature with its abundance of beauty.
