Sian ’s practice is influenced by the 1920s. Based in the Katoomba, Sian works in wheel thrown and slip porcelain to produce beautiful, unique and functionals homewards.
Tea sets have remained her focus and her interest in Light shades.

Sian completed her training at East Sydney Technical Collage in 1982, working in group studios around the inner city of Sydney. Sian works now from her Studio in Katoomba for the last 30 years.
She exhibited in group shows around Australia, for the last 30 years concentrating on tableware for markets which follows the idea of “Form follows Function”. This opened up the ability to work on individual work for competitions.
